About us
AHINORA is a family winery located a few kilometers from the majestic Danube River.
In 2008 the family acquires land in the area of Leskovski vrah, Selanovtsi village and planted vineyards. With the desire to continue the local traditions of winemaking, they choose to work with the noble Bulgarian white grape variety - Misket Vrachanski and the well-known red variety - Cabernet Sauvignon.
Misket Kaylashki a cross developed at the Pleven Institute is not only resistant to diseases, but also produces very fresh, fruity white wines. To express the wealth of the region, they choose to work with it as well.
Vineyard
The vineyards are planted on sloping terrain, with excellent air drainage, which protects them both from frost and from the development of unwanted diseases. Mainly the treatments of the vineyard are done by hand.
The harvest begins at the beginning of September,
lasting up to two months. It is harvested manually.
Wine Cellar
The cellar is built in 2012 and is located a few kilometers from the vineyard.
The cellar has all the conditions, machines and facilities for the production of quality white and rosé wines.
Enologist
Enologist and owner of the cellar is
Antoaneta Genova.
After graduating in Bordeaux, France in 2008, she worked as a sales representative and consultant in the South of France and in Georgia.In 2020 she returns to Bulgaria and joins the family business.
Today she is the soul of AHINORA.
Her desire is to reveal the potential of the region expressed in white and rosé wines.
